What to Expect at Your First Visit

1. A Warm Welcome From Our Client Care Team

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the same friendly faces you’ll come to know well. From the moment you arrive to the moment you head home, our team works to make your experience seamless, comfortable, and supportive.

You’ll be guided into a private exam room where you and your pet can begin getting acquainted with our veterinary hospital. This reduces lobby stress for pets and helps to ensure your wait time is minimal.

2. A Conversation, Not a Rush

Our veterinarians begin every appointment by listening. We’ll invite you to share your pet’s story, changes you’ve noticed, daily routines, and any concerns on your mind.

3. A Gentle, Thorough Examination

Once your pet is comfortable, we’ll complete a whole-pet evaluation. This involves discussing and examining your pet physically, observing behaviors, and learning about their environment at home.

Your pet’s emotional well-being matters just as much as their medical care.

Our team does not over-restrain animals or push through fear. Your pet dictates the pace of their visit with us.

If a pet is stressed, we pause.
If a procedure needs medication to make it easier, we discuss that option together.

We recognize life doesn’t always line up neatly. Some visits involve kids, multiple pets, mobility challenges, a cat who isn’t thrilled about the unexpected car ride, or a dog who’s ready to sprint for the door. That’s why check-out is flexible and tailored to your needs.

  • At the front desk
  • From your car (a favorite for parents with little ones or anxious pets)
