How does check-out work?
We offer flexible check-out options to match your needs:
- In the exam room
- At the front desk
- From your car, especially helpful for parents with kids or pets who prefer to avoid the lobby
Our goal is always a smooth, supportive transition home.

Absolutely.
We do not over-restrain pets. If a pet is fearful or stressed, we pause or use medication for comfort. We prioritize emotional well-being and gentle interactions.
What makes the exam experience different at Glastonbury?
- Your appointment always begins with conversation, never rushing.
“I sit down and ask, ‘Tell me everything.’ Then at the end I ask, ‘Is there anything I didn’t answer?’”– Dr. Griffin O’Connor, Owner.
- Our technicians prepare thoroughly before the doctor enters, often completing cytologies, drawing vaccines, and gathering history so your visit flows smoothly.
We listen first, examine second, and support you through every decision.
How does check-in work?
We use a streamlined check-in process to minimize waiting and reduce stress for your pet. Once checked in, we will guide you to a private exam room. This ensures your pet gets immediate, focused attention and reduces stress on pets in the lobby area.
Do you offer drop-off appointments?
Yes, for established and new patients.
For your convenience, you may drop off your pet in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon after their exam. Please note:
Drop-offs must be scheduled and approved ahead of time. A technician will ask you a few questions at drop-off to ensure we fully understand your pet’s needs that day.Do you take same-day appointments?
For our established clients, we do everything we can to fit in same-day concerns. We never turn away a sick pet without speaking to a veterinarian first. Depending on the situation, we may stabilize your pet here or direct you to a local emergency hospital if that’s the safest option.

Appointments can be made by phone or through our online booking system. We schedule all visits to give your pet the time and attention they deserve.
