Dr. Griffin O’Connor

Dr. Griffin O’Connor grew up in Suffield, CT, and has been dedicated to veterinary medicine since childhood. After earning her DVM from Ross University and completing clinical training at the Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, she spent a decade practicing in her hometown before moving closer to family and joining the Glastonbury community.

In 2023, Dr. Griffin and her husband, Dr. Jason Haviar, proudly purchased Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital. Her vision has always been to create a practice where clients feel heard, pets feel safe, and the team feels valued, which is a reflection of the compassionate, relationship-centered care she believes in.

Known for taking time to sit with clients, listen, and build trust, Dr. Griffin is committed to providing personalized care that supports both pets and the people who love them.

Outside the hospital, she enjoys cheering on her children at local sporting events and spending time with her Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Bodhi and Sparkle, and her rescue cat, Sushi.
