Briana

Since childhood, Briana has had a passion for and commitment to caring for animals, often bringing stray cats and dogs into her home. She has worked as a veterinary technician for eight years and participated in a veterinary volunteer trip to South Africa in 2018, where she worked with wildlife, exotic animals, and small animals.  

After graduating from UConn’s Pre-Vet Program with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2021, Briana gained experience in general practice, emergency care, surgery, and ASPCA high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter medicine. She is dedicated to fostering team collaboration, breaking down language barriers, educating clients, and providing quality care to both patients and their owners, all while promoting animal welfare.  

Briana is excited to work with Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital to positively impact the community and strengthen team camaraderie. She is currently applying to veterinary school with the goal of continuing her work in community and wildlife medicine as a veterinarian.
