Dr. Jason Haviar

Dr. Jason Haviar graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and completed a medical and surgical internship with the Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut. After several years of founding and running the Animal Emergency Hospital of Central Connecticut, he transitioned into general practice, working alongside his father and sister and further deepening his passion for community-centered veterinary care.

In 2023, Jason and his wife, Dr. Griffin O’Connor, purchased Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital with the goal of creating a warm, family-owned practice rooted in relationships and trust.

Dr. Jason has lived in Glastonbury for more than a decade and is active in local youth sports. Outside the hospital, he enjoys fishing, hiking with his Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and cheering on his children at their games.
